Veteran open-wheel driver Connor Daly is set to get his fenders back on again, as he’s teaming up with Rette Jones Racing to pilot the No. 30 car for the Zinsser SmartCoat 150 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

“Very excited to finally make my ARCA debut with Rette Jones Racing,” said Daly.

“This opportunity came up pretty last minute, but I love Mid-Ohio and really enjoy racing there. I’ve have raced a Truck there and so I have a little bit of heavy car experience there,” he added.

The Noblesville, Indiana native has made several starts before in the stock car realm, including running the 2023 O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 at Mid-Ohio for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series where he came home 18th. Most recently, Daly came home 10th in this year’s running of the Indianapolis 500 driving for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing.

“I have run well in an IndyCar there in the past. Excited for this chance. Excited to see what this series is all about. I have a lot to learn obviously,” Daly added on his eight starts in IndyCar.

Joining Daly and Rette Jones Racing is Polkadot, a powerful, secure core of Web3 for boundary-defying developers, on the hood of the 30 car.

“I appreciate the fact that Polkadot is supporting us throughout this effort.”

“Rette Jones Racing is beyond thrilled to have Conor drive our No. 30 Polkadot Ford Mustang on Friday at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course,” team owner Mark Rette said on the chance to partner with the open-wheel driver.

“Without hesitation, I believe that Conor should quickly dial himself into the track, and we can continue to tweak the car throughout the race. hopefully, give us the opportunity to not only maintain our presence near the front of the field but gives us the opportunity to get back to Victory Lane.”

You can catch Daly’s debut in the ARCA Menards Series live on FS1 at 6PM ET on Friday, June 21st.
