Looking to continue some of their strong runs for the latter half of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season, Rise Motorsports heads into the season ready to take the track with rookie driver Mitch Gibson behind the wheel.

Gibson will pilot the team’s no. 31 Chevy for the 200-mile event at the superspeedway. He also joined the team for the preseason test at Daytona back in January.

The Coeburn, VA native has over 20 years of racing experience between the NASCAR Whelen Series, the American Stock Car Association, and the Virginia Dirt Karting Association, among other series.

“We need to get the most out of the car and Mitch is the guy to get the job done,” team owner and driver Tim Goulet.

Joining with Gibson are several partners including C&S Construction Services, Cabinet Designs, Nelson Brothers Racing, and the Trevor Easterling Memorial among several others.

Rise Motorsports also released that they “have a few races left on our 2024 schedule for qualified drivers,” and partnering again with the National Police Association and Back The Lane on their car.

Rise Motorsports had previously announced that they were planning to run the season opener for 2024.

They will look to get some magic going for the new season as they ended the year with three top tens all with Brayton Laster at the dirt double and Salem Speedway last fall.

The 2024 season opener also marks the first superspeedway for the team after having run mostly short tracks last year.

With driving slots still open for the 2024 season as well as sponsorship opportunities, you can reach out to co-owner and driver Rita Goulet via email at rita@risemotorsports.com.

You can catch Mtich Gibson’s ARCA Menards Series debut with Rise Motorsports at the Daytona International Speedway on February 17th at 1:30 PM on Fox Sports 1.
