Connor Mosack, who had already announced a 20-race NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule with Sam Hunt Racing earlier this offseason, will now add more starts to his slate with Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series ranks.

According to a Thursday morning press release, Mosack will pilot the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota GR Supra for three NASCAR Xfinity Series races beginning with the July 1st street course event at the Chicago Street Course. Additionally, Mosack will run Pocono Raceway on July 22nd and Road America on July 29th for JGR.

To say Mosack is excited for his NASCAR Xfinity Series run of races with JGR is an understatement.

“I made my Xfinity Series debut with JGR last June at Portland and from the moment I made my first lap in their racecar, I realized why they’ve been so successful,” Mosack said. “Their equipment was second to none and the resources they had in terms of people and their knowledge was incredible.

“Jason Ratcliff was my crew chief at Portland and he’s got a ton of experience. I was able to learn from him before we even went to the track. Just in our time in the simulator, we made some great changes. So, to be back with him for three Xfinity races is going to be really valuable.”

Mosack will also compete in six ARCA Menards Series events for JGR.

The season-opener at Daytona International Speedway on February 18th will mark Mosack’s first ARCA start for JGR in 2023. The 23-year-old will then run Kansas on May 6th, Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 26th, Pocono Raceway on July 21st, Michigan on August 4th and Kansas again on September 8th.

For the young racer, the chance to be in top equipment in ARCA is also a dream come true.

“And when it comes to JGR’s ARCA program, it’s the class of the field. After having to race against JGR cars, I’m really looking forward to racing with a JGR car,” Mosack said. “No matter what track they were on, they were always up front competing for wins. To have that chance in 2023 is pretty special, and I aim to make the most of it.”

In addition to the added starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series, Mosack will also pilot a Super Late Model in the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway for team owner Jamie Yelton in February, and Mosack will return to the Trans Am Series on February 26th at Sebring International Raceway.

It’s going to be a busy season for Mosack, but for the driver trying to make a name for himself in the sport, there will be a lot of learning to be had.
