At the ripe old age of 15, Max Reaves has been nothing short of amazing at the start of his ARCA Menards Series East career, winning Saturday’s Dutch Boy 150 at Flat Rock Speedway.

With his victory, Reaves becomes just the second driver in ARCA East history to win their first three starts, joining Will Rodgers, a road course specialist, who achieved this feat in 2017 and 2018.

Reaves immediately began the evening by rolling off with his third pole award of the year, fending off a hard-charging Tyler Reif in the early goings of the 150-lap battle.

The driver of the No. 18 Cook Out Toyota Camry kept Reif at bay in his rearview mirror up until the first caution of the day after points leader Isaac Kitzmiller and Takuma Koga got together entering Turn 1, spinning Koga into the inside grass.

Reif took the lead on the restart, but was no match for Reaves as he made the easy effort of maneuvering around the No. 23 Chevrolet SS of Reif on Lap 23 and led the next 67 laps unanswered.

Kitzmiller’s troubles continued throughout the evening, as just past the halfway mark, the driver of the No. 79 had a tire going down, trapping the 15-year-old driver four laps behind the leaders.

The fourth and final yellow flag of the day was waved due to debris. This allowed Reif one last opportunity to challenge Reaves and regain the lead. However, Reaves was able to pull ahead from Reif on the restart. He maintained his position for the final 20 laps, racing on a clean track and ultimately securing his third ARCA East win of 2025.

“It’s crazy, but has anyone won four in a row?” Reaves said enthusiastically after claiming the victory in the Dutch Boy 150. “It was going to be close with Tyler (Reif), so it was good racing, and this is a good track. I love this place, and thank you for racing me clean (Tyler Reif).”

Behind was Reif in second, followed by Koga, who recovered from his early spin to finish third, with Matt Kemp scoring his career best ARCA East finish in fourth, with Austin Vaughn rounding out the top-five.

Zachary Tinkle, Kitzmiller, Brad Smith, Jackson McLerran, and Alex Malycke were the remaining top 10 finishers at Flat Rock Speedway.

As the final four ARCA East races will be run in conjunction with the headline ARCA Menards Series, Kitzmiller, despite his struggles, remains as the points leader by six points over Reif as the series takes a two-month break until their next showing at Dover Motor Speedway on July 18.
