Venturini Motorsports has tapped Alon Day, a four-time champion of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, to compete in three events in 2025, across the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series West platforms.
With support from Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), Day will make his ARCA Menards Series debut at Lime Rock Park on June 28. Day will drive the No. 25 Toyota Camry in that event, as well as races at Sonoma (July 11) and Watkins Glen (August 9).
The Ashdod, Israel-native is recognized as a “road ringer” in the NASCAR community. The driver has competed in all three levels of NASCAR’s National Series — with two starts in Cup, three starts in Xfinity, and two starts in Trucks.
Day’s most recent experience in NASCAR’s National Series came last season at Watkins Glen International, where he competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Alpha Prime Racing.
The 34-year-old driver has competed in many sectors of the racing world, including Indy Lights (Now INDYNXT By Firestone), GT World Challenge, German Formula Three, and Formula Renault AsiaCup, to name a few. Day is also the only Israeli-born driver who has competed in NASCAR.
“I’m excited for this opportunity to be back in America to compete with Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Series.” Day said in a press release. “I’m truly grateful to my sponsor, JSSI, for supporting me and giving me this chance to bring my talents back on track in America.”
Day has a best finish of 13th in NASCAR’s National Series, coming at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, during a rain-soaked event while driving for MBM Motorsports.
Venturini Motorsports owner Billy Venturini expressed his excitement to bring on Day’s road racing expertise into the program: “Alon is an accomplished driver on the world stage, and we are excited to have such a top-level road course driver racing under the Venturini Motorsports banner for these three races.”
The ARCA 100 at Lime Rock Park will air live on FS2 at 4:00 pm ET, Motor Racing Network, ARCARacing.com, and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
