Andrew Patterson, a part-time competitor in the ARCA Menards Series, is making the jump to form his organization for an eight-race schedule in 2025, Brandon White of ARCARacing.com reports.
The organization, dubbed Andrew Patterson Racing, will field the No. 40 Chevrolet beginning with the ARCA Menards Series East season-opener at Five Flags Speedway on March 22.
Patterson’s schedule for the upcoming season will also include Rockingham (April 19), Charlotte (May 23), Dover (July 18), Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (July 25), Bristol (September 11), Kansas (September 26), and Toledo (October 4).
Patterson has obtained sponsorship from Win Supply/SES Gearbox that will appear on his No. 40 Chevrolet SS for all eight events that he will run this season.
The Dayton, Ohio resident made his ARCA debut in 2024, which included six starts in ARCA’s headlining series along with four ARCA East starts, all of which came with MAN Motorsports. Patterson scored a best finish of 12th at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway park in the ARCA Menards Series and finished fifth in his ARCA East debut at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Patterson’s journey has been quite impressive, as he vacated his hometown of Dayton, Ohio, and moved to Mooresville, North Carolina as an intern for NASCAR Xfinity Series team, Jordan Anderson Racing. Team owner Jordan Anderson took him under his wing and provided him with mentorship for his racing efforts. He would work from legends cars all the way up to late model stocks in 2023 with his car being prepared by short track star Peyton Sellers and two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series winner, Jeb Burton. Patterson would eventually get the call from MAN Motorsports in early 2024 to drive the No. 95 Toyota Camry in select races in the ARCA Menards Series.
“It’s a little overwhelming, and it’s still sinking in that we’re closing in on being a month out from our first race as a new team,” Said Patterson on his thoughts about the pressure of owning his own ARCA operation in a press release. “When I moved down here in 2021, I never imagined this is where I’d end up. I was just a kid who watched NASCAR growing up and was going to do everything I could to be in the position I’m in now.”
“I’m building this with the goal in mind to run in the top five no matter where we go,” “That’s what I feel like I need to do and where this team I put together should run. We’re going to do what we need to do to show up and be competitive. We can compete for top five and top threes.”
It is unclear at this time who will serve as Patterson’s crew chief in his eight ARCA Menards Series and ARCA East races at this time and will be announced at a later date.
The ARCA Menards Series East race at Five Flags Speedway will air live on Flo Racing on Saturday, March 22.
