77 Drivers on Entry List for ARCA Pre-Season Practice at Daytona

There are a total of 77 drivers on the entry list for the two-day ARCA Menards Series pre-season practice session at Daytona International Speedway, which will take place on Thursday (January 9) and Friday (January 10).

Several of the mainstays in the ARCA Menards Series garage are entered for the testing session, while some like Wayne Peterson Racing, have elected to stay at home and prepare for the February 15 event.

Of the drivers slated to participate in the practice session, 11 are from outside the United States, including six Canadians from three different provinces. Also on the list are drivers from Mexico, Portugal, England, and Brazil.

Notable Drivers:

Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves will participate in the pre-season testing session, driving the No. 82 Chevrolet for Pinnacle Racing Group. Castroneves will run both the test and race, in preparation for the Daytona 500.

Full-time driver Brenden Queen and Pinnacle Racing Group development driver Landon S. Huffman will serve as teammates to the IndyCar legend, piloting the No. 28 Chevrolet.

From one IndyCar driver to another, Katherine Legge, a four-time starter in the Indianapolis 500, will drive the No. 23 Chevrolet for Sigma Performance Services, as part of an agreement to run the ARCA Daytona 200.

Garrett Mitchell (known better as YouTube personality Cleetus McFarland) will be participating in the pre-season practice session at Daytona, as well, driving the No. 30 Ford for Rette Jones Racing.

ASA STARS National Tour driver Kyle Steckly will serve as a teammate to Mitchell, also driving for Rette Jones Racing.

Treyten Lapcevich, one of Steckly’s former competitors in the NASCAR Canada Series, will get the opportunity to test at Daytona for Venturini Motorsports, serving as co-driver of the No. 55 with Isabella Robusto, who will run full-time in 2025.

Venturini Motorsports will bring the remainder of its Daytona driver lineup to the testing session, as well, with Belle River, Ontario-native Chase Pinsonneault in the No. 15, Lawless Alan in the No. 20, and Jake Finch in the No. 25.

Toyota will have some pretty strong representation in the pre-season practice session, with two additional factory-supported organizations showing up at Daytona International Speedway.

Nitro Motorsports, a Venturini Motorsports affiliate, will be bringing two entries to the pre-season testing session, with Amber Balcaen and Gavan Boschele sharing the No. 70, and Thad Moffitt and Ty Fredrickson sharing the No. 46 Toyota.

Joe Gibbs Racing will bring the No. 18 Toyota Camry to the racetrack with Brent Crews, Gio Ruggiero, and William Sawalich set to hit the racetrack.

Another NASCAR Cup Series team, Spire Motorsports, will be bringing an ARCA Menards Series entry to the pre-season practice, with Corey Day getting behind the wheel of the No. 77 Chevrolet.

On top of full-time competitor Lavar Scott in the No. 6, REV Racing is bringing a pair of untested drivers, Lanie Buice and Eloy Sebastian to the pre-season test to share the No. 2 Chevrolet.

Andy Hillenburg’s Fast Track Racing continues to host (the majority) of the Road to Daytona drivers this season, with the long list split between the team’s No. 9, No. 10. and No. 11. and No. 12 entries.

Dustin Smith (No. 9s), Austin Beers (No. 11A), Chase Burda (No. 11C), Zachary Tinkle (No. 11Z), Trevor Huddleston (No. 12H), Burt Myers (No. 12M), and Ty Fredrickson (No. 46F) are the drivers involved in that program.

Other organizations with entries for the practice include Mullins Racing, Quarterley Racing, Empire Racing, Richmond Racing, Rise Motorsports, Martin Motorsports, Maples Motorsports, Steve Lewis Motorsports, Brother-in-Law Motorsports, KLAS Motorsports, AM Racing, City Garage Motorsports, CW Motorsports, CR7 Motorsports, Clubb Racing, and Kennedy Aiken Racing Team.
