NASHVILLE — Benjamin Pedersen led the second Indy Lights practice on the streets of Nashville ahead of Sunday’s Indy Lights Music City Grand Prix.

The Danish driver went around the 11-turn, 2.1 mile circuit in 1 minute, 21.0820 seconds to average 93.239 mph. Second fastest was Iowa Indy Lights winner Hunter McElrea ahead of St. Petersburg Indy Lights winner Matthew Brabham.

Indy Lights points leader Linus Lundqvist was fourth fastest ahead of IMS road course Indy Lights winner Danial Frost.

Pedersen also led Friday’s opening practice session for the top step of the Road to Indy.

The session ended early with a red flag after Kyffin Simpson had contact with the Turn 11 wall.

Indy Lights qualifying is at 3:40 p.m. ET and will be live on Peacock.
