Rinus VeeKay will have a special livery for the 106th Running of the Indianapolis 500.

Ed Carpenter Racing released Tuesday that BitNile, a holding company within cryptocurrencies and innovations in the field of decentralized finance (DeFi), will partner with their No. 21 Chevrolet entry in the Indy 500.

Fresh off his first podium of the season at Barber Motorsports Park, VeeKay had the opportunity to influence the car’s design. The flashing orange and the Netherlands flag featured on the front wing are meant as tributes to his home country and race fans.

“I have always dreamed of racing an orange car in the Indianapolis 500, but I never imagined I’d get to design it myself,” VeeKay said. “I am very grateful to Todd Ault and BitNile for allowing me this opportunity, it is so cool. We incorporated many things for the Dutch fans and I hope they love it as much as I do!”

This will be the third start for VeeKay in the famed 500 as last year he became the youngest front row starter in the history of the event. He accomplished that with Bitcoin support as they coated his car with an iconic black and orange livery.

BitNile has been a crucial partner in Conor Daly’s full-time opportunity with ECR this season on the No. 20 Chevrolet.

“The fans loved the Bitcoin car last year and now it’s going to be even better with a QR code that will let them earn FREE Bitcoin,” Milton “Todd” Ault, III, the Executive Chairman of BitNile said. “I believe all three ECR entries have a real opportunity to win this year’s Indy 500. We are offering a special Bitcoin incentive to any ECR winning driver and the entire team if successful!”
