The sixth and final race of the first half of the 2025 ARCA Menards Series West campaign takes us to the beautiful 12-turn, 1.99-mile road course in the Southern Sonoma Mountains of California, Sonoma Raceway, for the running of the General Tire 200.

Friday’s event will mark the first of two road course events for the series, as the platform will visit the Portland International Raceway at the end of August.

After securing victories at both Kern County Speedway events, Trevor Huddleston remains at the top of the championship standings. He holds a narrow nine-point lead over Tanner Reif. The competition is tight, as just 18 points separate the entire top five in points.

26 drivers will enter the Friday afternoon showdown with the dream of claiming victory at one of the nicest facilities on the ARCA Menards Series circuit.

Among those entries are several heavy hitters looking to make a difference throughout 50 laps, with the most notable coming in the name of dirt and road course racing standout Kaylee Bryson, as she will make her stock car debut in the No. 17 Chevrolet for Cook Racing Technologies.

Two-time ARCA East champion William Sawalich sets his sights on a strong run in the No. 18 Starkey Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing, as he has previously finished in the top 5 in his previous two starts at the track.

Hendrick Motorsports development driver Corey Day continues with his busy schedule, as he will get behind the wheel of the No. 7 Chevrolet for Spire Motorsports.

Christian Eckes is set to rejoin the Bill McAnally Racing organization after leaving for Kaulig Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at the start of 2025. He will return to drive the No. 19 Chevrolet SS. Eckes will be teaming up with Jack Wood, who is a full-time driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and will be driving the No. 16 truck.

Sigma Performance Services will field two of their Chevrolets to the former Xfinity Series winner Spencer Gallagher and full-time ARCA East competitor Tyler Reif, the younger brother of Tanner. Gallagher will be in the No. 23 with Reif in the No. 24.

A few notable road course specialists will participate in the event, including Alon Day, Dale Quarterly, and Will Rodgers, as the main specialists on the track.

All full-time drivers on the ARCA West circuit are contesting on Friday, which includes Kyle Keller, Eric Johnson Jr., Robbie Kennealy, Blake Lothian, and David Smith.

The General Tire 200 at Sonoma Raceway will air live at 6:30 p.m. ET on Friday, July 11, on FloRacing, The NASCAR Channel on Tubi, with radio coverage provided by ARCARacing.com.
