On a r/NASCAR on Reddit ‘Ask Me Anything’ on Sunday, Toni Breidinger confirmed that she is no longer associated with Busch Beer’s ‘Accelerate Her’ program.

The program – initially announced in February — saw Busch Beer commit to supporting female drivers across all divisions of NASCAR, divvying up $10-million to split between eight eligible drivers over the next three seasons.

Breidinger was part of the program’s initial eight-driver lineup, which also included Amber Balcaen, Brittney Zamora, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Melissa Fifield, Natalie Decker, and Stephanie Moyer.

“I’m not part of Busch’s program anymore,” Breidinger said in response to a question about the difference the sponsorship has made. “Right now there is a huge narrative large corporations are trying to say they support women in sports. So they make big announcements that they are supporting.”

Breidinger, 22, currently competes full-time in the ARCA Menards Series for Venturini Motorsports, driving the No. 25 Toyota Camry.

“It’s important that people know – if a company isn’t on my car or my suit or my helmet they aren’t my sponsor,” Breidinger continued. “I’m focusing on my sponsors that are actually being about it and putting my car on the track and really supporting women in sports.”

In the series’ most recent event at Talladega Superspeedway, Breidinger partnered with the Women’s Sports Foundation, with the foundation taking primary placement on her Venturini Motorsports Toyota Camry.

The Hillsborough, California-native has accumulated a total of four top-10 finishes across her 15 starts in the ARCA Menards Series, tying a career-best ninth-place finish in the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway.

After three events, Breidinger currently sits sixth in 2022 ARCA Menards Series point standings, 28 points behind series point leader Rajah Caruth.
