Rise Motorsports has announced that Tim Viens will pilot the No. 31 HitchGO Toyota Camry in the ARCA Menards Series season-opening Ride The ‘Dente 200 at Daytona International Speedway on February 15.

The South Hero, Vermont native has competed in five NASCAR Xfinity Series events and 15 races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, primarily competing for Mike Harmon Racing in the No. 74 across both series.

Viens is also the former owner and part-time driver for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series organization G2G Racing, which closed its doors following the 2023 campaign.

The 48-year-old driver last competed in the ARCA Menards Series in 2016, placing 35th in the General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway. His best finish in the series came a decade ago, when he piloted the No. 06 Chevrolet for Wayne Peterson Racing, finishing 20th at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Rise Motorsports has been competing in the ARCA Menards Series, ARCA Menards Series East, and ARCA Menards Series West since 2022. The team is owned by both Rita and Tim Goulet who have made several starts for their family-owned team. Back on November 1, 2024, the team announced that they would field a second car part-time in the 2025 ARCA Menards Series, with the No. 37. No driver has been announced yet for the No. 37.

Last season, the team had nine different drivers race for the team including both Tim and Rita Goulet. The team’s best finish came with three 13th-place finishes at Berlin Raceway, Salem Speedway, and the dirt race at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds.

The team’s best finish came with Brayton Laster in 2023 when he drove the No. 31 Chevrolet to a ninth-place run in the season’s penultimate race at Salem Speedway. Off the race track, Rita is a police officer for the Gastonia Police Department in Gastonia, North Carolina.

In a team press release, co-owner of Rise Motorsports, and part-time ARCA Menards Series competitor Tim Goulet spoke about the partnership with Viens along with the partnership from HitchGO: “We are thrilled to have Tim driving our car and thrilled to partner with HitchGO in the season opener at Daytona.” “We can’t wait to see our HitchGO No. 31 on FOX and to see what we can do on the track at The World Center Of Racing.”

The Chilli’s Ride The ‘Dente 200 at Daytona International Speedway will air live on FOX at Noon EST on Saturday, February 15.
