Wayne Peterson Motorsports has announced that Peerless Pump will join aboard the No. 06 Toyota Camry entry of Brayton Laster in three ARCA Menards Series races in 2025, beginning at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 23.

The partnership will continue at Dover Motor Speedway (July 18), ending with Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (July 25).

Originally founded in California in 1923, Peerless Pump Company is an Indianapolis-based manufacturer that specializes in the production of horizontal and vertical water pumps for fire, industrial, and municipal applications.

“It’s a really crazy deal how everything came together,” Laster said in a press release. “When he said it was Peerless Pump Company, I absolutely lit up, unbeknownst to the person who reached out to me, or anyone else, probably at the company. Once that connection was established, everybody was all-in to make this happen.”

Laster also talked about how his family roots have been involved with the partnership with Peerless Pump.

“My grandmother actually met my step-grandfather working at Peerless Pump in the 1970s. Both of them worked there for decades before eventually retiring in the late 1990s.”

Laster, who is currently competing full time in the ARCA Menards Series points, currently sits 13th in points, as he is fresh off his season-best 15th-place effort at Kansas Speedway back on May 9.

Nicknamed “The Pizza Man,” Laster, hailing from Greenwood, Indiana, has been competing on a part-time basis in the ARCA Menards Series since 2022. He has claimed four top 10s in 19 career starts with a best finish of ninth at Salem Speedway in 2023 and 2024. Laster also has one NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series start that came in 2022 at Knoxville Raceway with Reaume Brothers Racing, finishing 27th place.

Laster is one of three full-time ARCA Menards Series rookies this season, joining Pinnacle Racing Group’s Brenden Queen and Venturini Motorsports’ Isabella Robusto.

The partnership will first appear on track as Laster gears up for the 150-mile sprint at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend.

The General Tire 150 will air live on FS1 at 6:00 pm ET, with radio broadcasts on ARCARacing.com and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
