After spending last season competing full-time in the ARCA Menards Series for Fast Track Racing, Michael Maples is forming his own team.

Maples Motorsports will field a single entry on a full-time basis this season, with the No. 99 being driven by the 60-year-old team owner.

The first-year organization will also field a second part-time entry, the No. 67, for Ryan Roulette, beginning with the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway.

Jeremy Petty, a long-time driver and crew chief throughout the NASCAR National Series and ARCA Menards Series garages, will serve as Director of Competition for MMS.

Both Maples and Roulette competed in the ARCA Menards Series last season for Andy Hillenburg and Fast Track Racing.

Maples, who ran the entire 20-race schedule for the organization, finished eighth in the final point standings with a best finish of 11th, coming at Berlin Raceway and Salem Speedway.

Roulette contested the largest ARCA Menards Series schedule of his career, competing in 11 races while driving the No. 12 for Fast Track Racing. The Minot, North Dakota-native scored a career-best eighth-place run at Salem Speedway.
