The Niece Motorsports family will continue to expand on Sunday at the Milwaukee Mile, as Matt Gould – son of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series crew chief Phil Gould – will make his ARCA Menards Series debut for the team.

The 16-year-old racer will drive the No. 40 Chevrolet, with his father on top of the box to call the shots.

“The whole process leading up to this weekend has been a dream for me,” said Gould in a release. “Getting to work with my dad all throughout the summer preparing our No. 40 Niece Chevrolet has been a great learning experience for me.

“I’m looking forward to logging laps this weekend and getting a feel for these cars so that we can run more races down the road.”

Gould currently competes in late models in the NASCAR Advanced Auto Parts Weekly Series, and he has been competing for the track championship at Hickory Motor Speedway as well.

The Mooresville, North Carolina-native had two wins a season ago with 13 top-fives, 14 top-10s, and a fourth-place finish in the Orange County Speedway season standings to add on to that as well.

The ARCA Menards Series race from the Milwaukee Mile will be aired live on FloRacing and MAVTV, Sunday, August 28th.
