On Friday Morning, GMS Racing announced that Berlin winner Daniel Dye will return to the organization’s ARCA program full-time in 2022, while the No. 21 Chevrolet SS looks to capture its first-ever championship in the main division of the ARCA Menards Series.

The 17-year-old joined the organization’s program midway through the 2021 season and found immediate success, collecting four top-five results and one General Tire Pole Award, alongside his victory at Berlin Raceway.

“I couldn’t be more excited to return to GMS Racing and compete for a championship next year,” said Daniel Dye. “Everyone at GMS does such a great job putting fast race cars on the track, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to drive one of their Chevrolet’s.”

The ARCA Menards Series will begin its season at Daytona International Speedway, in Dye’s hometown of Daytona Beach, Florida. For the second consecutive season, Chad Bryant will be calling the shots for the organization’s ARCA Menards Series program.

In addition to running the full schedule in the ARCA Menards Series, Dye will continue to work with the Drivers Edge Development program, which features physical and mental training, engineering and technical support, simulation time, and more to the drivers involved in the industry-leading program.

“We are excited to have Daniel back at GMS for the 2022 season. Daniel has a lot of potential and he grew a lot as a driver in 2021. Collecting your first win in a series is a big deal and I know that’s the first of many.” said GMS Racing President Mike Beam.
