Fredericksburg, Virginia’s Conner Jones will compete in three ARCA Menards Series events for championship-winning operation Venturini Motorsports, the team announced on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old will compete in events at Iowa Speedway (June 11) and Salem Speedway (October 1), while also competing for Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series East event at Dover Motor Speedway in April.

“It’s exciting to take the next step in ARCA with a team like Venturini Motorsports,” said Jones. “They’ve been one of the most dominant teams in ARCA for a long time. It gives me added confidence knowing I’m surrounded by a lot of successful people and racing really good equipment. I’m looking at this as an opportunity to learn as much as I can for the future. I’ll be really happy if I can go out and run top five, top ten each week.”

In 2021, Jones competed in three ARCA Menards Series East events at Nashville, Iowa, and Bristol, recording a career-best fourth-place finish for GMS Racing at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. In addition to his partial ARCA schedule, Jones will compete in the CARS Late Model Tour for the second straight season.

Wednesday’s announcement continues a week-long trend of Venturini Motorsports announcing their 2022 ARCA plans. On Monday, it was announced that Corey Heim and Jesse Love would split the No. 20 Toyota Camry. The following day, Jonathan Shafer was added to the team’s roster for five events in 2022.
