As the 2024 season for the ARCA Menards Series rolls on, the field will look to get a little bit bigger as City Garage Motorsports has announced they will be joining the series with driver Becca Monopoli.

In a release, the team from Lakeland, FL announced their intentions to race this season in the No. 85 car with Monopoli behind the wheel. The team plans to make their debut at Lucas Oil Raceway Park on July 19th,

“Becca has emerged victorious in every racecar category she has competed in, winning in nearly every track she has navigated,” the release said.

Becca is familiar with the series, having run in the preseason test down at Daytona for Fast Track Racing, but also attempting to make the field for the season opener at the superspeedway with Mixon Racing and help from Xfinity Series owner Mike Harmon. Monopoli isn’t new to racing, having 20 championships and 94 feature wins in the PRO TRUCK Series at her local track. She was also part of the Kulwicki Driver Development Program in 2021.

Becca’s father Tom Monopoli will be the crew chief for the team for the team in their debut.

“We are confident that CGM will find the perfect sponsors to make our entry successful in the ARCA Menards Series. The series is the perfect racing series for CGM,” stated CGM’s Director of Operations Jason Smith.

“It’s a well-run, professional, and extremely competitive series, and we look forward to taking on this challenge,” he added.

Team owners Stuart and Joanna Wess work to foster a culture with values of family, hard work, dedication, loyalty, and integrity.

You can tune in to both Becca Monopoli’s and City Garage Motorsports’ no. 85 car debut at Lucas Oil Raceway Park on July 19th live on Fox Sports 1.
