Katherine Legge will compete in the ARCA Menards Series season-opener at Daytona International Speedway, piloting the No. 23 Chevrolet SS for Sigma Performance Services.

Legge is a seasoned competitor with a wealth of knowledge and experience across various disciplines and has competed in the Indianapolis 500 four times, where in 2023 she set the fastest qualifying time by a woman in the prestigious event’s history.

“I am beyond excited to jump back into a stock car. I’ve done thousands of laps at Daytona but have never driven the oval. Something that is so familiar to me will also be brand new. It will be my second-ever stock car race on an oval, and I’m thrilled to be doing it with such a great team,” said Legge.

The 44-year-old driver has put together a career filled with impressive accolades, including podium finishes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and participation in historic events like the 24 Hours of Daytona.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Katherine join SPS for the Daytona ARCA 200,” said Joe Farré, SPS Team Owner. “Her talent and experience make her a perfect fit for the No. 23 car. We’re looking forward to seeing her competitive spirit and expertise shine on the national stage.”

The Daytona ARCA 200 will serve as the season-opening event for the ARCA Menards Series in 2025. The event will take place on Saturday, February 15 at Noon ET. Coverage of the event will be on FOX.
