Fifth Third Bank, a long-time partner of RFK Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series, is set to return to the organization as a primary sponsor of Chris Buescher and the No. 17 Ford Mustang in 2024.

The company will serve as a five-race primary sponsor of the Prosper, Texas-native in 2024, displaying its blue and green branding first at Texas Motor Speedway on April 14th, when the series returns to Buescher’s home state.

Entering the 13th consecutive season of its relationship with RFK Racing, Fifth Third Bank made its debut in the NASCAR Cup Series at Kentucky Speedway in 2012. Since then, the brand has ridden along with Matt Kenseth, Ricky Stenhouse, and now Chris Buescher on the No. 17 Ford.

Buescher will return to the racetrack with Fifth Third Bank branding at Darlington Raceway (May 12), Michigan International Speedway (August 18), Daytona International Speedway (August 24), and Charlotte’s ROVAL (October 13).

Throughout its relationship with RFK Racing, Fifth Third Bank has appeared as the primary sponsor of a NASCAR Cup Series entry on 64 occasions, which have resulted in three victories, all of which have come on superspeedways.

As the new season commences, the 31-year-old veteran of the NASCAR Cup Series is looking to expand upon a breakout season at NASCAR’s top-level, where he picked up three victories – including a victory with Fifth Third Bank as the primary sponsor at Daytona International Speedway — and finished seventh-place in final point standings.

Fifth Third Bank joins a confirmed partnership lineup that already includes Fastenal, Castrol EDGE, and BuildSubmarines.com, along with additional partners that will be announced at a later date.
