Jesse Love has climbed from his No. 84 Whelen-sponsored entry for Chad Boat Industries, after a nasty spill in Thursday’s fourth and final qualifier at the Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Love, who will compete full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Richard Childress Racing in 2024, was leading the event and battling side-by-side with Dylan Benz, when the two made contact entering the first corner.

When the wheels touched on the top two vehicles, Love was sent airborne, before the front end of his vehicle slammed the outside wall in the first corner, sending Love into the tire barriers, and pirouetting upside-down.

Luckily, the Menlo Park, California native was able to climb from his car under his power, seemingly uninjured after a wild ride. However, Love isn’t the only NASCAR driver to have issues on Thursday.

Kyle Larson, 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion, also took a tumble – albeit in an early heat race – when battling for a spot in the fourth heat of the night, landing on his side.
