Travis Mack, who had served as the crew chief of the No. 99 Trackhouse Racing team since its inception in 2021, will move to Kaulig Racing for the 2024 season.

According to a post from Kaulig Racing on X, formerly Twitter, Mack will serve in a dual role for the organization as he will also have the role of Technical Director for Cup Teams while also serving as the crew chief for the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

In three seasons, the No. 99 Trackhouse Racing team, which was led by Mack, scored one victory, which came at Sonoma Raceway in 2022. The No. 99 team also scored 10 top-five finishes and 27 top-10s in 108 starts.

To round out the Kaulig Racing NASCAR Cup Series crew chief lineup for 2024, Trent Owens will reprise his role as the crew chief for the No. 31 team.

As Mack heads to Kaulig Racing, Matt Swiderski, who previously served as the crew chief for the No. 16 Kaulig Racing team, will slide over to be the crew chief for the No. 99 Trackhouse Racing team and its driver Daniel Suárez in 2024.

Trackhouse Racing loves the winning pedigree that the 42-year-old Swiderski has shown in his time as a crew chief in the NASCAR Cup Series.

“Matt is a proven winner with a dynamic engineering background, and we are confident he will pair well with Daniel,” said Trackhouse founder and owner Justin Marks.

While Suárez scored his first-career NASCAR Cup Series win in 2022, and made the Playoffs for the first time, he regressed overall in 2023. Swiderski is hoping he can help Suárez find the keys to victory lane again in 2024.

“Everyone sees what Trackhouse Racing is building and I am thankful for the opportunity to come to a winning organization and lead the No. 99 team,” said Swiderski. “I am looking forward to working with Daniel. We are both striving to achieve the same thing, winning. Every day we are going to work on perfecting the next steps that it takes to get more wins and compete for a championship.”
