Corey Heim, a five-time winner in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has committed to TRICON Garage for next season, where he’ll return to the seat of the No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for a second consecutive season.

The 21-year-old driver is currently in the midst of a championship run with the organization after his victory at Bristol Motor Speedway guaranteed him a spot in the ‘Championship 4’.

“I am super grateful to have the opportunity to return to TRICON in 2024,” said Heim. “We still have unfinished business this season, but I am excited to have my plans set for next year. We have continued to improve from top to bottom throughout this season, and I can’t wait to keep building this program with my No.11 team and the entire organization.”

Despite missing an event in the regular season due to illness, Heim far-and-away leads the series in several statistical categories, including top-fives (11), top-10s (18), and average finish (6.4).

With a top-five result in the series’ most recent event at Talladega Superspeedway, Heim continued an impressive streak of top-10 finishes, which has remained intact since his victory at Martinsville in April.

“In his first full season in the NASCAR Truck Series, Corey [Heim] has consistently shown maturity beyond his age, leading his team and winning the regular-season championship,” said Tyler Gibbs, General Manager of TRD. “We are excited to watch him continue to grow next year in a second season with TRICON Garage.”

The penultimate round of the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign will take place Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway, with the finale coming two weeks later at Phoenix Raceway.

“Corey continues to demonstrate his desire, dedication, and determination to drive at the highest levels of NASCAR,” continued Gibbs. “We are proud to have him in the TD2 family and look forward to watching him continue to grow and develop. Everyone at Toyota and TRD is excited to cheer on Corey in Phoenix as he pursues his first NASCAR title.”
