After a disappointing 27th-place finish in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut earlier this year at Portland International Raceway, 26-time IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship winner Jordan Taylor is back for more.
Taylor, 32, will return to Kaulig Racing for the Drive for the Cure 250 at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL, where he’ll pilot the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro. The organization announced the driver’s return on Friday, via social media.

A native of Orlando, Florida, Taylor has spent the year branching out his motorsports experiences, including competing in the CARS Late Model Tour event at North Wilkesboro Speedway, which served as his first-ever race on an oval.
The decorated road racer has also dipped his toes into NASCAR’s National Series this year, first debuting in the NASCAR Cup Serles at Circuit of The Americas with Hendrick Motorsports, where he served as an interim driver of the No. 9 for Chase Elliott.
Taylor would come home in 24th place, after earning a top-five starting position and showing flashes of brilliant speed throughout the weekend, despite it being his first time in a stock car of any kind.
A couple of months later, at Portland International Raceway, Taylor would then debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, as a part of Kaulig Racing’s All-Star entry – which at the time utilized the No. 10, instead of the No. 11 that it will use for Taylor’s second start of 2023.
Currently, Taylor sits in second place in point standings as the full-time Corvette factory driver in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, which has completed nine of its scheduled 10 events this season.
Nonetheless, Taylor should have a strong chance at scoring a good finish in the October 7th event in Charlotte, North Carolina, as fellow Kaulig Racing driver AJ Allmendinger has won each of the last four Xfinity Series events at Charlotte’s ROVAL.
