Ryan Preece will return to the seat of his No. 41 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, the driver confirmed to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old driver is currently in the midst of his debut season with Stewart-Haas Racing, where he’s picked up a single top-five result at Richmond Raceway, his first top-five finish on a non-superspeedway.

“I’m going to be here with the No. 41 and Stewart-Haas Racing next year,” Preece told Dave Moody. “Definitely looking forward to it, and we’ve made a lot of gains.”

A native of Berlin, Connecticut, Preece will remain engrained within the Stewart-Haas Racing driver lineup for 2024, one that is set to include Chase Briscoe in the No. 14 Ford Mustang, and five-time NASCAR Xfinity Series winner Josh Berry, who will replace the retiring Kevin Harvick in the No. 4.

The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series campaign has been difficult for Preece – and Stewart-Haas Racing as a whole – with the driver of the No. 41 currently sitting 25th in NASCAR Cup Series point standings, wedged between teammates Aric Almirola (22nd) and Chase Briscoe (30th).
