Ryan Preece had an intense crash into the side of Kyle Larson’s car in an overtime finish of Sunday’s GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Oh my goodness. While battling for the race win on an overtime restart in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, Kyle Larson made a bump draft on Ross Chastain, which caused Chastain to make contact with Noah Gragson, which put Gragson into trouble.

As Gragson skidded right head-on into the outside wall, Larson went spinning to the inside of the track.

Then, as it looked like things were calming down, Larson’s No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro darted right back across the track right in front of Ryan Preece, who had nowhere to go. Preece made intense contact with Larson.

Here is a video of the horrific crash:

And here is a replay of things from Ryan Preece’s on board cameras:

The impact was so severe that it bent the rollbars on the passenger side of Larson’s car. Fortunately, Larson was checked and released from the infield care center, as was Preece.
