Black’s Tire, a longtime sponsor within the world of NASCAR, will join Kaulig Racing and AJ Allmendinger, the driver of the team’s No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, as a primary sponsor in the upcoming Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway.

The No. 16 car will feature a blue, white, and yellow wrap in the event on May 14th.

While Black’s Tire has been a fixture in the NASCAR space for years, this will mark the first time that the company has been plastered on a Kaulig Racing car. For Kaulig Racing, it’s always exciting adding new partners.

“We are always excited to welcome new partners here at Kaulig Racing” said Chris Rice, president of Kaulig Racing. “Ricky and I have a long-time relationship; having Black’s Tire onboard for Darlington, a home track for their auto service brand in South Carolina, is exciting for everyone involved. Looking forward to seeing the Black’s Tire No. 16 Camaro under like lights at Darlington and seeing AJ put on a good show for all the Black’s Tire employees and family that come out for the race.”

Black’s Tire will feature it’s “Throwback Company Colors” for NASCAR’s throwback weekend on the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro. The company is ready for the upcoming race, and the company is offering a chance for BTS employees and customers to bring their moms to the track for the race.

“We look forward to partnering with Kaulig Racing for such a special event,” said Ricky Benton, Owner, Black’s Tire. “Darlington is right in our backyard so we are pumped up and ready. Goodyear is also the title sponsor of the race so it will be extra exciting to be there with many customers. We will also be doing a Mother’s Day promotion allowing our BTS team members and customers an opportunity to bring mom to see some exciting action.”

Black’s Tire boasts more than 60 locations across North and South Carolina, and the company employs more than 985 associates.
