Joey Logano crash 2023 Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas video
Joey Logano went for a wild ride on lap 184 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Hopes were high for Joey Logano and the No. 22 Team Penske group heading into Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Logano started from the pole after a great qualifying run on Saturday.

However, after leading the opening nine laps of the race, Logano began to fade. And when the race reached the final Stage, things came undone for Logano as he went for a wild ride off of Turn 4 on lap 184.

In a three-wide battle with Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch, Logano and Keselowski converged. As a result, Logano ran out of room and collided with the outside wall. The contact with the wall sent Logano spinning across the track and into the infield grass, narrowly missing Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Here is video of the first natural caution of Sunday’s Pennzoil 400:

In the incident, the toe link was broken on the No. 22 machine. Chances are the broken toe link occurred in the tap into the wall.

FOX also showcased a slow-mo replay of Logano catching major air while spinning through the infield grass:

The damaged vehicle policy clock ran out as Logano’s team attempted to make repairs after the crash, which meant that Logano was officially done for the day due to the spin off of Turn 4.
