Josh Berry and JR Motorsports continue to announce partnerships, both new ones and, in the case of Jarrett, extensions of existing ones for the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

On Monday, the organization made the official announcement that Jarrett will once again bring their bold red and black colors to Josh Berry’s No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro as the primary sponsor for six races.

“To have Jarrett coming back to the No. 8 next season is a great feeling,” said Berry in a JR Motorsports team release. “I got to really know their team this year and you couldn’t surround yourself with better people. They take great pride in how they care for their employees, clients and everyone around them, so hopefully we can show them a great time in Victory Lane next season.”

The six races that are scheduled for Berry to pilot the Jarrett colors are Phoenix Raceway (March 11), Richmond Raceway (April 1), Dover Motor Speedway (April 29), Atlanta Motor Speedway (July 8), Indianapolis Motor Speedway (August 12), and Texas Motor Speedway (September 23).

In addition to the six-race primary sponsorship, Jarrett will also serve as an associate sponsor for the No. 8 team for the remainder of the schedule.

While Berry is excited for the continuation of the partnership with Jarrett, the Ohio-based logistics company is equally excited.

“We are thrilled to welcome Josh Berry back as the brand ambassador for Jarrett,” said Mike Jarrett, President & CEO of Jarrett. “Josh and the JR Motorsports team are a clear reflection of our family-owned values and commitment to speed and service. As we like to say, ‘There’s fast. Then there’s Jarrett fast.'”

Berry, 32, had a breakout season in 2022 — his first full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign.

The Tennessee native scored three victories, which brings his career total to five wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Berry also racked up 11 top-five finishes, 20 top-10s and he made it into the Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway, and he ultimately finished fourth in the season-ending championship standings.

JR Motorsports announced Berry’s return to the No. 8 car for the full-time 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule back in October, and a day later Tire Pros announced an extension with the driver and team for a nine-race sponsorship in 2023.

Then, in November, Bass Pro Shops announced they had signed on to sponsor Dale Earnhardt Jr. in one NASCAR Xfinity Series event in the No. 88 entry and that they would also add an 11-race primary sponsorship of Berry on the No. 8 machine.

With the Jarrett sponsorship announcement, Berry now has 26 of the 33 races filled for the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
