The NTT IndyCar Series braces for its final oval of the 2022 season with this weekend’s Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at World Wide Technology Raceway.

Ed Carpenter, running an oval-only schedule, makes his final appearance of the season to help expand the entry list as a field of 26 drivers and teams are set to do battle for 260 laps on the 1.25-mile track based in Madison, Illinois.

Team Penske’s Will Power rolls in as the championship leader, holding a six-point advantage over rival Scott Dixon of Chip Ganassi Racing.

Team will be equipped with nine sets of Firestone tires for the race weekend.

Last year, Power captured the pole but it was teammate Josef Newgarden rolling to his third victory at the track, which also makes him the active wins leader.

The 15th race of the 2022 season will begin at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday, with live coverage on USA Network, Peacock, the IndyCar Radio Network and IndyCar Live!
