Matt DiBenedetto – a seven-year veteran of NASCAR Cup Series — will return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with Rackley W.A.R. in 2023, the organization confirmed to TobyChristie.com on Tuesday.

A representative for the team said in an email that DiBenedetto is, “absolutely returning,” and that DiBenedetto and Rackley W.A.R., “remain equally committed to growing and developing this race team on all levels.”

The first report of DiBenedetto rejoining Rackley W.A.R. for the 2023 season came from Catchfence.com’s Chris Knight via Twitter on Saturday before the Series raced at Pocono.

DiBenedetto, 31, who joined the second-year organization fresh off of a two-year stint for Wood Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series, which ended at the conclusion of the 2021 season, has scored six top-10 results in the No. 25 Chevrolet Silverado this season, including a pair of sixth-place finishes.

The driver from Grass Valley, California sits 13th in the NCWTS driver standings after 16 races.

In the organization’s maiden campaign in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, 2021, Rackley W.A.R. scored just one top-10 result with Josh Berry, finishing 10th-place at Texas last Fall, with the entry placing 19th in Owner Points.
