Camden Murphy will compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Nashville Speedway, taking over the driving duties of the No. 30 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for On Point Motorsports.

The 25-year-old will be pulling double-duty this weekend in Nashville, although in quite a unique way, competing in the Monster Jam event in Nashville at Nissan Stadium on Sunday, June 26.

Rowdy Energy will be the primary sponsor of Murphy’s effort in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Nashville, a new sponsorship partner for the Itasca, Illinois-native which will debut at the 1.33-mile oval.

“I am beyond excited for this incredibly unique doubleheader opportunity that has NEVER happened before. NASCAR and Monster Jam on the same weekend? Wild!” said Murphy. “Not to mention, I will be practicing in Bakugan Dragonoid in the morning on Friday and then I head over to the speedway to practice, qualify, and race in my beautiful #30 Rowdy Energy Toyota all on the same day. I cannot Thank Rowdy Energy, Kyle Busch, On Point Motorsports, Joe Nemechek, Daltile, and all of my amazing partners enough for their support to make this weekend happen. 180MPH one day and 40 feet in the air the next. You won’t want to miss it.”

In his 28 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts, Murphy has a career-best finish of 13th, coming at Daytona’s Road Course driving for NEMCO Motorsports, in one of two starts recorded last season.

Entering Nashville, On Point Motorsports currently sits 27th in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series owner points, after Tate Fogleman, Josh Bilicki and Joey Gase have shared driving duties in the No. 30 entry.
