Brodie Kostecki – a full-time competitor in the Repco Supercars Championship — is eyeing a potential debut in the NASCAR Cup Series for the 2023 season, according to a report by Speedcafe.com’s Simon Chapman.

According to the report, the desire to compete at NASCAR’s top level is derived from a recent trip to the United States where he took in the Indianapolis 500 and the NASCAR Cup Series’ first trip to WWT Raceway.

The 24-year-old isn’t a stranger to competing within the ranks of NASCAR, having made a total of 16 starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East – now the ARCA Menards Series East — in 2013 and 2014, earning a best finish of fifth.

Kostecki’s trip also allowed him to catch up with some old friends from his K&N Pro Series days, including Josh Berry, Corey Lajoie, and Cole Custer.

After 15 of 34 races in the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship, Kostecki sits eighth-place in series standings, driving the No. 99 for Erebus Motorsport.
