It’s a wet start to the GMR Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

As the field all started on the wet tires, the No. 26 Andretti Autosport Honda team were the first to call driver Colton Herta to pit road for the alternate (red sidewall) Firestone tires on Lap 2 of 85.

Once the pit cycle would follow through, Pato O’Ward was going re-inherit the lead after also pitting for the red tires. Herta was hounding for the top spot with having one more lap to warm up his fresh set compared to O’Ward.

Even drifting through the corner he made his way back to the Arrow McLaren SP driver and took the position.
