As Ty Dillon and the newly-formed Petty GMS Motorsports prepare to start the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season in Sunday’s Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum, there will already be a small dose of change thrown into the equation.
Jerame Donley – who will serve as the full-time crew chief of the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro in 2022 — will not be traveling to Los Angeles, California for this weekend’s historic event, as he and his wife, Jenna, are currently expecting their first child.
A Petty GMS representative confirmed the news to TobyChristie.com’s Joseph Srigley, saying: “With the flight distance and being a non-points race, the decision was made for Jerame to not travel to the West Coast.”
