On the heels of a highly anticipated reconfiguration of the historic track, Atlanta Motor Speedway and sponsor FR8Auctions will continue their relationship heading into 2022, with a slightly altered race distance.

Fitting for the sponsor, NASCAR’s first dance with the new track configuration will become the “FR8Auctions 208”, adding an additional eight miles to the previously established 200-mile race distance for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

The news was shared on Monday.

The Toyota camp holds five wins of the last seven Truck Series races at Atlanta, including Kyle Busch as the most recent winner back in March.

As far as FR8Auctions’ other NASCAR plans for 2022, the sponsor expects to remain a consistent presence in NASCAR’s other two touring series, including time with 2021 Daytona 500 champion, Michael McDowell.

Additional plans for the company are expected to be shared at a later date.
