ThorSport Racing will have a serious title defense effort in their midst heading into the 2022 season, with the team confirming on Thursday that champion drivers Ben Rhodes and Matt Crafton will return to the organization in 2022.

The news was confirmed on Thursday via SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Allison Thorson of ThorSport also confirmed that the organization will field four trucks, however, the drivers for those entries are to be announced at a later date.

Since 2013, ThorSport has claimed four NASCAR Camping World Truck Series titles with three at the hands of Crafton and the fourth coming from Rhodes.

The Kentucky-born driver had just two wins in 2021, but a win in Phoenix solidified his spot as the series champion. Crafton failed to reach victory lane in 2021 but made the Championship 4 in his No. 88 Menards Tundra.

Grant Enfinger, who spent time in the No. 98 entry, will move to GMS Racing in a two-year deal while Johnny Sauter’s plans for 2022 remain unclear.
