For the second time this season, brothers Ryan and Kyle Sieg will get the opportunity to go head-to-head against each other in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, with RSS Racing fielding a pair of entries in Saturday Afternoon’s season-finale at Phoenix Raceway.

The addition of a second entry for the season-finale at Phoenix comes less than a week after the organization announced its plans to return to the Xfinity Series with two full-time entries in 2022.

According to NASCAR’s Roster Portal, Ryan Sieg will pilot the team’s second entry at Phoenix (No. 38) but will keep the same crew chief/members that he’s worked alongside throughout the year. Kyle Sieg will pilot the team’s primary entry, with Pat Cole calling the shots on the No. 39 entry at the one-mile oval. Cole has worked in a number of different capacities across NASCAR’s top-three series this year.

With the scheduled return of practice and qualifying this weekend at Phoenix, the entry swap between the brothers allows Kyle, the less experienced of the two, to have owner points to fall back on, while Ryan, with his immense experience, can qualify the No. 38 into the event in qualifying.
