INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – AUGUST 15: Ryan Blaney, driver of the #12 Menards/Knauf Ford, waits on the grid prior to the NASCAR Cup Series Verizon 200 at the Brickyard at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on August 15, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana. (Photo by Sean Gardner/Getty Images)

NASCAR DFS and Betting vibes are strong in “Tejas” this weekend for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. My picks were half in half out last week on DraftKings for the ROVAL, but we’re done with road and now it’s time to ride to bagtown. Now that we’re done with road, it’s time to focus on oval tracks the rest of the way through the 2021 Playoffs.

Preparing a NASCAR DFS lineup for Texas is really no different from any other track on the circuit. The main focus points for building an optimal lineup this week is going to come down to the main lap leader. The top four drivers on the starting grid are all strong candidates to be that guy.

With Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, and Ryan Blaney right up front, the best way to ensure getting the bag is playing at least 20 lineups on DraftKings this week. I always recommend playing that number of lineups, but this week it’s pretty crucial if you aren’t feeling really confident in who’s going to dominate the race. Lucky for you I’m Garage Guy, and my gut is here to point you in the best direction possible.

Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500: Lineup Picks For DraftKings

#5 Kyle Larson – ($10.5K | To Win +400 )

Kyle Larson has been ripping up the track all season, and has put alot of money our pockets. This week Larson is aiming to dominate Texas, and he could easily make it happen starting from P1. With Larson staring a lock to the Championship Four in the face, it’s hard for me to bet against him going ahead and getting it done.

#12 Ryan Blaney – ($9.5K | To Win +900 )

Ryan Blaney is so due for a win in Texas, and with him starting P4 on Sunday, he has every opportunity to seal the deal. There’s also alot of positives when looking at his stats at this track. At Texas Motor Speedway, Blaney holds a Top 3 Driver Rating, and sits inside the Top 3 of almost every other category.

#48 Alex Bowman – ($9.3K )

Alex Bowman starts P14, and is my favorite potentially overlooked play on this slate. Bowman has shown us he is good at most intermediate tracks on the circuit, and just because he is out of the playoffs doesn’t mean he should be slept on. Look for Bowman to finish inside of the Top 10 on Sunday with no added pressure.

#47 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – ($7.2K )

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has already gotten two trophies this week on The Golf Guys Tour and now he has the ability to help get us money trophies on Sunday. Stenhouse Jr. starts P27 and has top notch place differential potential. A Top 20 is almost a guarantee this week with Ricky, and he’ll more than likely be a popular play.
