Loris Hezemans, who won the 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series championship and currently sits atop the point standings in the Series in 2021, will attempt to make his third NASCAR Xfinity Series start of the year this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.

Reaume Brothers Racing announced on Monday, that Hezemans, 24, will slide behind the wheel of the team’s No. 33 entry this weekend.

Hezemans was first announced to be driving in this race four days ago, but now, we know what car he’ll be driving.

In three-previous NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, Hezemans has a career-best finish of 22nd, which came at Road America in 2019. In three seasons driving in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, the driver from Netherlands has scored seven wins in 35 starts.

Joining Hezemans in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race this weekend will be Giorgio Maggi, a Swiss-born fellow NASCAR Whelen Euro Series driver. Maggi will drive the No. 42 entry for MBM Motorsports.
