Derek Kraus will start from the pole position for Friday Night’s Corn Belt 150 at Knoxville Raceway, scoring the highest number of qualifying points throughout the four 10-truck heat races held two hours before the start of the main event.

Kraus was scheduled to start shotgun on the third heat race of the evening – effectively started eighth-place after John Hunter Nemechek and Chris Windom went to the rear of the field in the heat — working his way through the pack in the heat race to finish in the runner-up position to Tyler Ankrum, scoring himself 17 qualifying points.

Tyler Ankrum, the winner of the third heat race, will start in second-place, with Todd Gilliland, Hailie Deegan and Carson Hocevar, the winner of the fourth heat, rounding out the top-five starters.

Johnny Sauter, Parker Price-Miller, Kyle Strickler (the winner of the second heat), Matt Crafton and Chandler Smith will round out the top-10 starters. Josh Berry, the winner of the evening’s first heat race, will start in 11th-place.

The Corn Belt 150 will commence at 9:00pm / EST, with coverage live on FOX Sports 1, MRN and SiruisXM NASCAR Radio (Ch. 90).
