James Davison has totally annihalted the competition in Wednesday Night’s eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series event at the virtual Circuit of The Americas, in advance of the highly-anticipated NASCAR Cup Series debut at the 3.41-mile road course in Austin, Texas.

Piloting the No. 15 Chevrolet Camaro for Rick Ware Racing, Davison dominated the event from start to finish, besting Front Row Motorsports’ Anthony Alfredo by a margin of over 18 seconds. William Byron, Tyler Reddick and Chris Buescher rounded out the top-five in the event.

Throughout the course of the 32-lap event, Davison had essentially no competition, continuing to extend his lead further and further over the remainder of the field. However, at the halfway point of the race, the Australian had a close-call with Clint Bowyer, as the two made contact in the final corner of the facility. Davison sustained no damage in the incident and continued on to dominate the event.

Lets just say that Clint Bowyer didn’t really have a good race tonight….

Timmy Hill, Denny Hamlin, Josh Bilicki, Ross Chastain and Michael McDowell rounded out the top-10 in the event that featured a great deal of chaos, including incidents from NASCAR Cup Series winners Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, Aric Almirola, Ricky Stenhouse Jr and others.
