Mike Harmon Racing named their drivers for the season-opening NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Daytona via SiriusXM NASCAR Radio on Saturday morning’s Frontstretch with Jack Arute.

Mike Harmon and Joe Nemechek will both get the nods to be behind the wheel.

According to Harmon, Nemechek will run the No. 47 and currently Harmon will be in the No. 74, however he says that could change if someone comes to the table with sponsorship and, “wants to do it worse than I do,” Harmon said.

Harmon said following Daytona, he expects Tyler Matthews, Camden Murphy, Kyle Weatherman and Bayley Currey to all have time behind the wheel of MHR cars at some point in 2020.

Mike Harmon has made 284 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts through his career as a driver.

Nemechek, who has 20 NASCAR National Series wins in his career, surpassed Richard Petty’s all-time record for most NASCAR National Series starts last season.
