What an awesome finish for Rick Ware Racing. The team fielded a car in the Asian Le Mans Series for Saturday’s 4 Hours of Shanghai and after an obstacle-filled week they finished second in the LMP2 Class.

Shipping issues, which delayed the delivery of their race cars caused the RWR team to miss qualifying and nearly all of practice.

Luckily, the team was able to get in two laps of practice to at least familiarize themselves with the track. But missing qualifying meant the team would start the race with a one lap penalty.

Cody Ware and his co-driver Mark Kvamme got to work and began to cut their deficit to the field.

By the end of the 4 hour event, Ware and Kvamme had worked to 14th overall and second in their LMP2 AM class.

What a turnaround and a great finish for the Rick Ware Racing team.
