Sponsorship Falling Through Has Pushed Tyler Ankrum to Part-Time Truck Series Schedule

NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series rookie contender Tyler Ankrum was supposed to be running the full 2019 schedule with DGR Crosley Racing, however Sponsorship has fallen through recently that will bump the 18 year old back to part time.

Ankrum posted a video update for his fans explaining the situation.

Ankrum has been great so far in 2019. Through six starts, Ankrum has three top-10 finishes including a season-best third place effort this past weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

Ankrum has recorded the only top-five finish this season for DGR Crosley, and the team only has five top-10s between their entire stable of trucks. Losing Ankrum for any portion of time is bound to hurt the organization on the track.
