David Gilliland Proud of Son Todd; Son Gave Him a Hug Before David Ran Truck Race at Charlotte

David Gilliland finished 14th in Friday night’s NASCAR Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It was a flip-flopped day for Gilliland, who usually is on the sidelines while watching his son Todd Gilliland race. On Friday, Todd came up and gave his dad a hug before his race. David says he couldn’t be more proud of Todd and the way the driver has handled his second season in the NASCAR Cup Series.
