Austin Cindric caught air after colliding with AJ Allmendinger, who had slammed into the wall in Turn 4 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Wow. That’s not something you see every day. Austin Cindric went for a little bit of a ride in the early going of Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

AJ Allmendinger had just gotten moved out of the groove by race leader Christopher Bell, and was placed a lap down on Lap 69. Allmendinger then slid wide off of Turn 4, and collided with the outside wall. That shot Allmendinger down into Cindric, who had nowhere to go.

As the two cars made contact, Allmendinger’s car served nearly as a ramp for Cindric’s car, which briefly launched from the ground.

Here is a video of the wild moment:

Fortunately, for Cindric, the car came back down to the concrete surface, and the caution came out, which allowed him to bring the car to his pit crew to take a look at it.
