Corey Heim scored his third win of the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season in Thursday night’s UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

While the win came with a tinge of controversy on track, as his TRICON Garage teammate Tanner Gray held up Christian Eckes with five laps to go allowing Heim to take the lead, there was no controversy in the post-race inspection bay.

Heim’s No. 11 Toyota Tundra passed tech with no issues, and NASCAR has named the driver and his team the official winners of the race as a result.

This marks Heim’s fifth win of his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career. The 21-year-old, who won the regular-season championship, can breathe a little easier knowing that he doesn’t have to sweat out being potentially eliminated from the Playoffs at Talladega Superspeedway.

There were no issues in post-race inspection, aside from loose lug nuts, which means Eckes, who led 150 of the 200 laps in the race, was officially the runner-up finisher in the race.

The No. 2 Rev Racing team had one unsecured lug nut on their truck at the conclusion of the race, and the No. 17 TRICON Garage truck had one unsecured lug nut. These infractions will result in monetary fines for their crew chiefs.

Grant Enfinger, Carson Hocevar, and Taylor Gray rounded out the top-five finishers in Thursday night’s race.
