Inspection Complete: Kyle Busch Officially Wins Enjoy Illinois 300 at WWT Raceway

Inspection following Sunday’s Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway is complete in the NASCAR Cup Series garage.

Kyle Busch, driving the No. 8 3CHI Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing, has officially passed all aspects of post-race inspection, meaning he is the official winner of the series’ second trip to the St. Louis-based facility.

The victory marks the third of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series campaign for Kyle Busch, who joined forces with RCR at the start of the year. Additionally, the win on Sunday is the 63rd for Busch and the 116th for RCR in the NASCAR Cup Series.

With the completion of the post-race inspection, all results and standings provided by NASCAR are now deemed official. Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, and Martin Truex, Jr. will retain their positions inside the top five.

Erik Jones (LEGACY MOTOR CLUB), Todd Gilliland (Front Row Motorsports), and Chris Buescher (RFK Racing) will have their vehicles brought back to the NASCAR R&D Center for a teardown inspection. Any penalties would be announced mid-week.

There were no issues in post-race inspection.
