In a wild turn of events in the closing laps in Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Toyota 200 at World Wide Technology Raceway, Grant Enfinger was able to steer clear of the chaos to score his second win of the 2023 season.
Enfinger’s race-winning No. 23 GMS Racing Chevrolet Silverado cleared post-race inspection, which led to NASCAR confirming Enfinger as the official winner of the race.
The 38-year-old Enfinger is now a nine-time winner in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition.
The only issue detected in post-race inspection was an unseured lug nut on Christian Eckes’ No. 19 truck, which will result in a monetary fine for the crew chief. This means that all results and standings following Saturday’s race are now considered official.
Christian Eckes officially came home in the second position, and he was followed by Stewart Friesen, Carson Hocevar, and Chase Purdy inside the top five.
